Then, we noticed the sign. Translation: Throw All Fish Back!
I wonder, were one to catch a catfish or a bream, would one risk eating it? Not I. Not even one meal per month. (The homophone in the title of this blog post was intentional; now you know why.)

What is it like for the fish????
So things are not always what they seem.....
So sad, isn't it?
I've always enjoyed the scenic land you have in Tennessee. I was stationed at Ft. Campbell Kentucky (which is literally on the border) in the early 90s and anytime off was spent in your state. Thanks for the reminder... and you also have a very entertaining blog.
Mercury content? Is that the deal. We had some of that for awhile, but then realized somebody would have to eat 60 pounds of fish a month from the questionable water for it to be a problem.
Beautiful place, too bad the fish are foul!
Such a beautiful area. How terribly sad about the fish...
I don't much like fish anyway. Too bad though. I wonder what happens if you swim in it?
Now that is one scary place to fish!!!
Beautiful on the surface......is anywhere still clean?
Aloha-
It looks so idyllic. How sad about the *foul* fish....
